How to Give

The 1855 Appeal is being coordinated by the Church Vestry, in conjunction with the Friends of St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church.  For more information about The Friends and their 501(c)3 status click HERE.

The amount raised for the Church refurbishment and the Vicarage improvements is a total of €430,000. The Vestry received pledges of up to €215,000 to match money raised during the two-year Appeal period.

Whilst the amount has now been raised, you may still donate - and any monies not used for the refurbishment works will form part of an endowment for the continued upkeep of the Church buildings.

We therefore would like to ask all members and friends to consider making a donation to The 1855 Appeal.

This can be made as a one-off donation or as a monthly, quarterly or annual sum over the two-year period of the Appeal.

If you are based in the US, your donations are tax deductible, and you can donate by:

●    sending a cheque to the Friends (details HERE);
●    gifting traded securities (with no tax payable on the capital gain);
●    making a donation online via this Page.

If you are based on the island or elsewhere you can make a donation by:
●    giving it directly to the Church via Father Charlie or contacting our Parish Administrator; or
●    making a donation online via this Page.

We will acknowledge the names of  the donors (if they wish) on a plaque to be placed on the wall inside the newly refurbished Church.
