Knowing, Growing In, And Sharing Jesus Christ In the Power of The Holy Spirit
We are an entirely volunteer church! As a result, we depend on the generous help and donations that we receive from our diverse congregation. You can donate to the church in 2 ways:
1.Through regular giving to the church through Sunday collections or a regular commitment by direct debit to the local church.
2.Through our US registered charitable foundation. This is called “Friends of St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church”.
Friends, which was set up some years ago, is a fully registered charity and all donations are tax deductable for American tax residents.
There are 2 funds operated by Friends:
The General Fund– to deal with day to day church expenses i.e. heat, light, water, garden maintenance and perhaps most importantly our music ministry. This is clearly a hugely important area of our overall activity and therefore all donations are not only greatly welcomed but hugely appreciated.
The Endowment Fund– expenditure from this fund is limited to maintenance and capital expenditure on the fabric and buildings of the church. The church comprises 3 buildings. The church itself, the vicarage for visiting priests and the new church centre. This fund is well endowed but is constantly looking for new donations to make sure that the overall physical fabric of the church can continue to be well maintained for the long term. Again, all donations are greatly needed and appreciated.
Why not consider becoming a “member” of our church community and entering into our “regular giving program” either through “Friends” or direct to the local church.
